What started as fun is now running your life.

Sports betting. Online casinos. Poker. Parlays at 2 a.m.

It crept in slowly, and now it controls your time, your money and your peace of mind.

A weekly call and a blocking app aren't always enough. Sometimes you need to get out of the environment and do the work in person.

That's what we built Outpost for.

1
Thing we will treat. Gambling. Not a side track at a general rehab.
2
Planned levels of care: residential and outpatient, so you can step down without starting over.
24/7
Support planned for our residential program, around the clock.

Gambling is exploding across America.

Since the Supreme Court cleared the way for legal sports betting in 2018, betting has moved from casinos to every phone in the country. Sportsbooks, online casinos and now prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket are open around the clock, and the financial damage is showing up in the research.

New risk: prediction markets

Kalshi, Polymarket and the next wave of gambling losses

Prediction markets let people bet on sports, politics and nearly anything else, 24 hours a day, often in states where sports betting is still illegal. They are marketed as trading, but the results look like gambling. A Pew Research Center review of nearly 12,000 active Polymarket accounts found that 56% lost money over six weeks. Therapists are reporting more young clients whose gambling started on these apps. Our planned programs will treat prediction market losses the same way as any gambling problem.

Two levels of care. One focus.

Some people need to step fully away. Others need structure while they keep working and living at home. Once we open, we will help you figure out which fits, and you will be able to move between them as you progress.

Our planned programs call for master's-level clinicians licensed in Arizona (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LISAC) to provide individual, group and family therapy.

Every kind of gambling, and the damage it leaves.

Gambling addiction doesn't show up alone. Our planned programs will also address the anxiety, depression, debt, legal and financial stress, and relationship damage that come with it.

Built only for gambling recovery.

ICGC-certified counselors

Specialists in gambling disorder, not general therapists adding it to a list.

In person, not on a screen

Real rooms, real groups, real accountability. Treatment you show up for.

Financial recovery built in

Debt, budgets and financial accountability will be part of the program from day one, not left for later.

Family included

Gambling hurts the people around you too. We will bring them into the process.

You don't have to figure this out by yourself.

Recovery happens around other people who get it. Once we open, in our groups you will sit with people fighting the same fight, and you will leave with them in your corner.

Where are your programs located?

Outpost Recovery is preparing to open residential and outpatient programs in Arizona. We are not open yet. We will share locations and arrival details once our programs open.

Do I need to live in Arizona to attend?

No. Once we open, people from any state will be welcome. We will help coordinate travel and arrival, and every client will leave with a discharge plan that includes continuing care close to home.

How do I know whether I need residential or outpatient care?

That decision will be made by our clinical team. Every client will complete a comprehensive assessment with a licensed clinician before admission. Using that assessment and established clinical placement criteria, our team will recommend the level of care that fits your needs. Residential treatment is generally recommended when gambling has seriously affected finances, work or relationships, or when previous attempts to stop have not lasted. Outpatient care may be appropriate for those with stable support at home.

How long is residential treatment?

Length of stay will be based on clinical need. We plan for most residential stays to last approximately 30 days, followed by a transition to outpatient care and an ongoing aftercare plan.

Will you treat losses from prediction markets like Kalshi or Polymarket?

Yes. Betting on event contracts through prediction markets carries the same risks as sports betting and online casinos, and it often gets worse because the apps are open around the clock. Our planned programs will treat prediction market losses as gambling disorder, including the financial and family fallout.

Is treatment confidential?

Yes. Once we open, all client information will be protected under HIPAA and other federal privacy laws. We do not share information with anyone, including employers, without your written consent.

Do you accept insurance?

We plan to accept most major insurance carriers. Coverage varies by plan, and once we open, our team will review your benefits at no cost and explain your payment options before you start treatment.

Can my family be involved in treatment?

Yes. Family involvement is an important part of recovery, and family sessions will be included in both of our planned programs. If you are seeking help for a loved one, our team can talk with you about how to start that conversation.

I'm not sure I have a gambling problem. Should I still reach out?

Yes. If gambling is affecting your finances, relationships, sleep or peace of mind, a confidential conversation with our team can help clarify your options. If treatment is not the right fit, we will tell you and point you toward other resources.

Take the first step, confidentially.

Tell us a little about what's going on. A member of our team will reach out, answer your questions and help you think through your options.
