Sports betting is on your campus. Here is a day that gets ahead of it.
We come to you. One day on campus for your students, athletes, and the staff who look after them, led by two founders who lost years to gambling and backed by the certified gambling counselors on our planned team. Not a rules briefing and not a poster campaign. The real story, the warning signs, and tools that stop the next bet.
Why this exists
Most campuses have a program for alcohol, one for drugs, and nothing for gambling. Meanwhile the betting app is on every phone in the dorm. About half the people calling the national gambling helpline are now 18 to 34, and the ones who don’t call are on your campus, borrowing from friends and skipping class.
Outpost Pathways is our gambling-only curriculum. This is the version built for a college.
Who we talk to in a day
- Students. A 60-minute session for the general student body, a residence hall, Greek life, or a class. The founders’ story, how a betting app is engineered to keep you in, what the slide from fun to trouble looks like at 20, and the three-question screen.
- Athletes. A separate session built for them: the scholarship, the app, the losing streak, and what a wagering violation actually costs. Fits next to your NCAA education, doesn’t replace it.
- Counseling and health staff. 45 minutes on screening for gambling, what to ask, and where to refer. Most counseling centers have never been trained on this.
- Coaches, RAs, advisors, Greek advisors. 30 minutes on the signs a student is in trouble, what to say, what not to say, and how to get them help without blowing up their life.
- Athletic compliance, student affairs, deans. How this fits what you already do, who to call, and what happens when you call.
- 1:1s. Private, confidential conversations for any student who asks. No names go back to the school.
The tech layer
Any student who wants it leaves with device-level blocking set up and supported by us. Sportsbook and casino apps and sites blocked across phone and laptop. Self-exclusion enrolled where the state offers it. A check-in schedule so it holds.
We handle setup, support, and follow-up. Nothing lands on your staff.
What you keep after we leave
- A screening resource for your counseling center
- A one-page sheet for coaches, RAs, and advisors
- A confidential line for students to reach us
- A gambling-only treatment program, once we open, for the student who needs more than a talk
Who this is for
Colleges and universities of any size, athletic departments, conferences, collegiate recovery programs, Greek life and residence life, and campus health and counseling centers.
Frequently asked questions
Does this replace our NCAA wagering education?
No. It sits next to it. Yours covers the rules; ours covers the person.
Do you only work with athletes?
No. Athletes get their own session because their risk is different, but the day is for the whole campus.
Is there a cost?
Talk to us. We keep it simple and never tie anything to referrals.
Does anything go back to the school about individual students?
No. Conversations and blocking setups are confidential.
Can we book just one session?
Yes. Start with one and build from there.
